Optimisation Advice
Run a test print before production to confirm trim position and registration accuracy
A high piece count demands tighter registration and trimming accuracy
Imposition Notes
- - Mind the grain direction; important work should run with the grain
- - Leave enough gripper and lead edge (typically 10-20mm)
- - Bleed is normally 3mm, rising to 5mm for special requirements
- - Keep gutters at 5mm or more so trimming can be registered
- - For large runs, favour the most efficient option
- - Account for downstream processes (lamination, die-cutting, binding)
