Ordering Process

How to get a quote?

On our “Online Customization” page, select your box type, enter dimensions, material, process, and quantity. The system will instantly generate a real-time, transparent quote. The quote includes unit pricing, MOQ tiers, process surcharges, and other details — no hidden fees.

What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

Standard products: Gift/color boxes from 1 pc; corrugated boxes from 1 pc.
Sampling: Supports sampling from 1 pc — verify before bulk production.
Volume discounts: Tiered pricing at 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 units. See the online quote for details.

Sampling process & fees

Digital proof: Ready in 24 hours, for structure/dimension check only (not actual print), provided free of charge.
White sample: 2-3 days, physical white card cut-out, no printing, {currencySymbol}50-200 per piece.
Press proof: 3-5 days, actual machine printing, closest to final product, {currencySymbol}200-500 per piece (complex processes may cost more).
Bulk deduction: After confirming the sample, place a bulk order and the sampling fee can be credited toward the order amount.

Can I modify the order after confirmation?

Before production: Free modification of dimensions/quantity/design files if not yet scheduled.
During production: Die-cutting/press started — major changes require re-sampling and additional fees.
Completed: Cannot be modified, but supplementary production or redo options can be negotiated.
Suggestion: Please carefully confirm all details during the sampling stage to avoid modification losses later.

How to track order progress?

Log in to “My Account” > “My Orders” to view real-time status: Pending Payment, Design Confirmed, Sampling, In Production, Quality Check, Shipped, etc. Key milestones trigger email/SMS notifications. You can also contact your dedicated project manager for details.

Can I cancel the order?

Unpaid: Can be cancelled at any time.
Paid but not in production: Refund available with a 5% handling fee.
In production: Cannot be cancelled, but can be paused and delivery delayed (up to 30 days).
Special circumstances: In case of force majeure or issues on our end, adjustments can be negotiated.

Design & Files

File formats & software requirements

Recommended formats: AI/PDF/CDR/EPS vector files to ensure lossless scaling.
Accepted formats: PSD/TIFF/JPG (resolution ≥300DPI, 1:1 actual size).
Software versions: Adobe CC 2020 and above, CorelDRAW X7 and above.
Note: Please convert text to outlines or include font files with your submission to avoid missing characters.

Bleed & safe zone settings

Bleed: Add 3mm bleed on all four sides; extend the background beyond the trim line.
Safe zone: Important elements (text/logo/QR code) should be ≥5mm from the trim line.
Glue flap: Avoid placing text or key graphics in the glue flap area.
Tools: Die-line templates are available for download and can be imported into your design software.

Color mode & color settings

Color mode: Use RGB for wide-gamut files; use CMYK for standard four-color printing.
Spot colors: For precise colors, specify the Pantone number (e.g., PMS 2935C).
Black handling: Use single black K100 for text; use four-color black C40/M30/Y30/K100 for large black areas.
Color management: Screen display differs from actual printing; sampling is recommended for confirmation.

Image & resolution requirements

Resolution: ≥300DPI (1:1 actual size); lower resolution causes blurry images.
Image format: CMYK-mode TIFF/PSD; avoid JPG compression.
Links & embedding: Images in AI/CDR should be embedded or provided as a package.
Special effects: Transparency, shadows, gradients, etc. should be rasterized.

Pre-press process file labeling

Hot foil stamping (gold/silver): Separate layer with color label (gold/silver/rose gold, etc.).
Embossing/debossing: Separate layer label; line thickness ≥0.3mm.
Spot UV: Separate layer showing the UV area; minimum area ≥5mm×5mm.
Documentation: It is recommended to include a process description document/mockup to avoid ambiguity.

Do you provide design services?

Pre-press check: Free file check service to verify resolution, color mode, bleed settings, etc.
File normalization: Pre-press engineers handle RGB-to-CMYK conversion, bleed supplementation, imposition optimization, etc.
Creative design: Not available at this time, but we can recommend partner designer resources.
Minor edits: Simple changes like text/dimension adjustments can be assisted free of charge.

Common file errors & how to avoid them

Color mode error: RGB mode not converted to CMYK, causing print color shift.
Insufficient resolution: Image DPI <300, resulting in blurry output.
Missing bleed: White edges appear at the trim line.
Safe zone violation: Text cut off or covered by glue flap.
Missing fonts: Text not outlined and fonts not provided, causing text distortion.

Production & Delivery

How long is the production cycle?

Standard color/gift boxes: 1-2 business days for sampling; 3-5 business days for bulk.
Corrugated boxes: 1-2 business days for sampling; 5-8 business days for bulk.
Holidays and special processes (embossing, hot foil stamping, special lamination) may add 1-3 days. Please refer to the customization page for details.

Is rush service available?

48-72 hour rush service is available, subject to: ready stock materials, standard structure, quantity ≤3,000, and advance sample confirmation. Rush fees apply and are assessed by the project manager.

Shipping methods & transit times

Domestic: Same-city next-day delivery; 1-2 days within province; 2-5 days cross-province. For large shipments, logistics or full truckload is recommended. International: Supports EXW/FOB/CIF trade terms; transit times depend on the carrier. All orders include tracking and delivery confirmation.

Industry Standards & Specifications

Dimension/structure tolerance standards

Die-line forming tolerance: ±1.5mm (gift boxes ≤500mm) / ±2.0mm (>500mm); corrugated slotting ±2.0mm. Glue flap overlap deviation ±1.0mm. Window positioning ±0.8mm. Hot foil registration ±0.3mm.

Color deviation & print control

ISO 12647 color management is applied; ΔE≤3 under D50 standard illuminant is the acceptable range. Spot colors use Pantone and custom matching; pre-press digital proofs or press proofs can be provided for confirmation.

Common national/industry standards

Corrugated boxes: GB/T 6543; Paper & board physical/chemical testing: GB/T 450, GB/T 12914; Barcode print quality: ISO/IEC 15416; Environmental & management: FSC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001.

Materials & Processes

How to choose paper materials?

White cardboard (250-400gsm): Ideal for color/premium boxes; Kraft board: High burst strength, suitable for shipping cartons; Grey-back white board: Cost-effective; Corrugated (E/F/B flute): Commonly used for e-commerce packaging, balancing strength and cost.

How do surface finishes affect results & cost?

Matte/gloss lamination improves durability and texture; spot UV enhances visual hierarchy; hot foil stamping (gold/silver) elevates brand premium feel; embossing/debossing adds tactile dimension. Special processes increase lead time and cost — choose based on your intended use.

Structural processes & load capacity

Tuck-end boxes suit lightweight items; auto-bottom boxes improve packing efficiency; drawer boxes/rigid boxes are ideal for gifting; handle structures need reinforcement; for loads ≥5kg, B-flute or double-wall with reinforced glue flaps is recommended.

Delivery & Lead Time

Standard delivery SLA & milestones

T+0: Project initiation & data confirmation; T+1: Die-line & digital proof submission; T+2~3: Sample confirmation; T+4~10: Bulk production; T+11~12: Quality inspection & dispatch. Specifics are subject to the project SOW.
